The MADPAD Apartment Renovation Journal

We loved this radiator but it was taking up a huge part of the living room corner.  We yanked it.  Considering there are three other steam pipes in the apartment, plus knowing that our neighbors had also removed their radiator that was in the same location, we felt it was a safe thing to do.  We’ll know if we did the right thing after our first winter there.
