Our tile guy told us “well, your walls are not smooth enough for me to tile them. They have to get ripped out, re-framed so that I can tile them” So, that’s what we did. Here are pics of the bathroom with absolutely no walls.

Above is a shot of our new copper plumbing and is where the new bathroom sink and cabinet will go.

This shot shows, if ya look really close, the old molding that has been hidden all these years.

We loved this discovery. When the wall got knocked down, this wall paper was revealed. The four screw holes indicate where a medicine cabinet may have been. This pattern reminds me of a Colorforms I used to play with, called Miss Cookie’s Kitchen. This wall paper matched the golden walls perfectly, so fifties. I will be sending this photo to retro renovation websites for their archives.
