The MADPAD Apartment Renovation Journal

Here’s a shot of the bedroom with now at least 4 coats of paint.  Please remember to factor in 1) the poor lighting in the room   2) my camera’s built-in flaws     3) the sawdust and schmutz in the air.

Regardless of those factors, we can see right away that the paint is getting darker.  This room ended up requiring 5 coats of paint, but part of the blame has to go to us for not having laid down the recommended primer first. 

Oh well, our journeyman painter didn’t mind, he enjoyed it, and we assured him that he was great, and it was just the paint that needed the extra oomph.
