The old walll switch in the bathroom
The old wall switch was located two feet from the bathroom doorway. We yanked it out to put in one right at the entrance.

Bathroom wall switch
We installed this switch here so that you can turn on the light as soon as you walk into the bathroom. The original wall switch was in the middle of the room near the sink!

New outlet in bathroom
We wanted a new outlet near where our sink and mirror would be, for the blow dryer and electric toothbrush, and for the vacuum when we clean. This is a shot of the new casing where the outlet will be placed.

The fuse box’s new home
Awesome! Our fuse box has been placed into a newly carved out niche in the wall. It will be perfectly hidden by our bathroom mirror.

Electrical work begins in the kitchen
No more air vent! But the ugly outlet and the metal tunnel leading into it on the left has got to go. Notice the nice new electrical lines going up in the ceiling on the right. They were used to give us that new outlet near the window, which is where our portable dryer will…
