The tile has been laid and grouted. Here’s what it looks like. I couldn’t step into the bathroom to take a better shot because the grout was just set. We love how the bathroom tile turned out. Near the right corner is the bathtub drain and the rag in the circle covers where the toilet will rest.
Now we have to frame in the window before the plumber returns to hook up the bathtub, toilet and sink. Eeek!
Your bathroom looks amazing! I know this is an old post, but wondering if you can recall where you purchased your floor tile. We are not able to find the 6″ tile with the black diamond inserts and would love to be able to order them online. Thanks so much!
Sorry for the late response! We hired a tile expert and he laid the tile piece by piece including the diamond inserts. I grew up in Queens in a pre-war apartment building and had found some old photos from some magazines that matched the bathroom tile pattern in the Queens apartment and gave him the photos and he created everything from scratch.
