This shot was taken from our kitchen window during early spring.  We are looking upon the roof of a convent with a rain pool.  Across the way is a church. Notice the sky.  Not one building in sight.

Years ago, New York apartment law insisted that apartments have 6 windows in order to help prevent tuberculosis which was rampant in the city at the time.  With two windows in the living room, two in the kitchen, and 1 in the bathroom, this one was built to satisfy the law.  The law never said…
