  • Living room

    Stucco ceiling, and an ugly ceiling light.  Broken windows and an old iron clad radiator.  These windows face south.  Glorious sun pours in during daytime.

  • The floors get papered

    The floors were in fairly good condition except in some spots.  But our guys papered the floor to protect them, but paper is like paper does, and it ripped pretty soon after it was laid down.

  • A peek into the living room

    Railroad apartments offer good and bad features.  You usually get northern and southern exposure from the outer rooms, but the interior rooms tend to be small.  That’s ok, we love our new place.

  • Getting plastered

    Notice the huge crack in the wall on the left.  No worries, it’s gone now.

  • The vent to nowhere

    We couldn’t figure out the vent’s purpose since there was no exit for the air.  It’s been yanked.
