Old cast iron radiator
We loved this radiator but it was taking up a huge part of the living room corner. We yanked it. Considering there are three other steam pipes in the apartment, plus knowing that our neighbors had also removed their radiator that was in the same location, we felt it was a safe thing to do. …

A view from the living room
The windows in the backgroun are the kitchen’s. This view is facing north. Notice the pretty picture molding on the walls. We love that and decided that whatever color we paint the walls, the moldings and ceilings will be painted white.

Here you can see our other door that leads into the apartment. Notice the black tape that kept the doorknob in place. Quelle secure. LOL

The walls were damaged. We think they once bore bookshelves that were added with – glue! Our electrician loved the light fixture and took it for his own game room in his basement.
